Weet-Bix Weet-Bix Slapjack Category="Australian cuisine"Category="Breakfast cereals"Category="New Zealand cuisine"Weet-Bix is the name of high-Fiber breakfast cereal biscuits manufactured in Australia and New Zealand by the Sanitarium Health Food Company. The name is probably a derivative of wheat biscuits. A closely related product, called Weetabix, is manufactured in England by the Weetabix cereal company of Kettering, Northamptonshire. In South Africa Weet-Bix is manufactured by Bokomo in Cape Town. In Australia there are a large number of no name companies that sell cheap weet-bix.

The biscuits have a crunchy texture. This is due to the fact that they are made from many flakes of wheat pressed on top of one another. They are usually served with either cold or warm milk; if served with warm Milk, they have a tendency to become soggy.
