Under the Umbrella Tree was a children's show that ran in Canada and America from 1986 to 1993. It featured a woman named Holly and her three Puppet friends that she shared an apartment with: Gloria the gopher (who lived under a huge tree in the living room), Iggy the Iguana (who lived in a cabinet), and Jacob the Bluejay (who lived on the back deck). They learned important lessons about things like sharing, helping, and being kind to old people.
The prolific series had its most acknowledged run on the Disney Channel in the early 1990s. There are plans (2005) to revive the show.
