Ukiha District, Fukuoka

Ukiha (浮羽郡; -gun) was a district located in Fukuoka, Japan.

On March 20, 2005 the former town of Ukiha merged with Yoshii, then became City of Ukiha. Due to this merger, the district was disappeared.

Mergers

On February 5, 2005, preceding the merger of Ukiha with Yoshii, the former town of Tanushimaru merged with three other towns (from other districts) into the expanded city of Kurume.
