It belongs to the <a href="Greater Helsinki">Helsinki region</a>.<p>It is located in the <a href="Provinces of Finland">province</a> of <a href="Southern Finland">Southern Finland</a> and is part of the <a href="Uusimaa (region)">Uusimaa</a> <a href="Regions of Finland">region</a>. The municipality has a population of 34,513 (2004-12-31) and covers an area of 225.43 <a href="Square metre">km²</a> of which 5.74 km² is water. The <a href="Population density">Population density</a> is 157.10 inhabitants per km².<p>Tuusula has three centers. The administrative center is <b>Hyrylä</b> (about 19,500 residents), other two are Jokela (5300 residents) and Kellokoski (4300 residents).<p>The municipality is unilingually <a href="Finnish language">Finnish</a>.<h2 style="margin: 0; padding-top: 0.5em; padding-bottom: 0.17em; border-bottom: 1px solid #aaaaaa; font-size: 150%;">Transportation</h2>From the center of Tuusula, Hyrylä, there are good bus connections to Helsinki, via <i>Tuusula motorway</i>.
