<catset>Category="Military ranks of South Korea"</catset>[image] <i><b>Taejang</b></i> is a <a href="Comparative military ranks of Korea">South Korean military rank</a> that is the equvialent to both an <a href="Admiral">Admiral</a> and a <a href="General">General</a>. The higher rank of <i><a href="Wonsu">Wonsu</a></i> (Marshal) has never been used.<p><a href="South Korea">South Korea</a> uses the additional general officer ranks of <i>Chunjang</i> (<a href="Brigadier General">Brigadier General</a>), <i>Sojang</i> (<a href="Major General">Major General</a>) and <i>Chungjang</i> (<a href="Lieutenant General">Lieutenant General</a>). South Korean generals wear one to four stars as a badge of rank.
