The term screen has a number of meanings:
- A screen can be a transportable or permanently mounted panel or connected series of panels intended to obscure or hide the space behind it, used for visual privacy. A screen can also provide physical protection.

- The verb screen is to examine something for defects or dangers.
- The verb screen can also mean to enclose, shield or protect something with another object or material.
- Screen (sports) (verb or noun) : when a player obstructs the vision of an opposing player.
- Screening can mean to reduce undesired electromagnetic Signals and Noise by enclosing devices in electrostatic or electromagnetic shields.
