<b>Prakrti</b> or <b>Prakriti</b> (from <a href="Sanskrit">Sanskrit language</a>) is, according to <a href="Samkhya">samkhya philosophy</a>, the basic matter of which the universe consists. It is composed of the three <a href="Guna">gunas</a>: <a href="Guna">tamas</a>, <a href="Guna">rajas</a> and <a href="Satvic">sattva</a>.
