The Wall of Prophecy is also located in the village. The Matoran here are the least social of all, but they do their work silently with effort with their roles. A sport played here is Huai, a snowball slinging game. Their Turaga is Turaga Nuju. The Rahi in Ko - Wahi are few, as not much of them adapt to the extreme cold temperatures. One known Rahi who thrives here is the Muaka. Le - Wahi: This land consists of swamps and trees. A landmark here is the Fau Swamp, Lake Kanae, and Kanae Bay. Onu - Wahi: This land has full of caves underground, but quite little up at the surface. A landmark nearby is the Papa Nihu Reef. The Matoran here have night vision and are sensitive to daylight and work as miners or engineers. Their Turaga is Turaga Whenua. The Matoran here are carpenters, hewers, carvers and foundation-layers. Their Turaga is Turaga Onewa. The Rahi in Po - Wahi are hardy from the desert conditions and consists of kangaroos, toads, rhinos, arachnids, and birds. Kini-Nui: A massive temple located in the center of Mata-Nui. It was here the Toa went to battle the Manas and Makuta, the Bahrag, and the Bohrok-Kal. Also, it was here where Takanuva went to so he can deafeat Makuta once and for all. Metru NuiTa - Metru This Metru has foundries, furnaces, and massive cone-shaped factories, as it is the place where Protodermis is moulded and manufactured after it is rid of its impurities in Ga - Metru. A landmark here is the Great Furnace, where the Morbuzakh used to be in before it was destroyed. Other places here are Protodermis Vat Control Centers (which controls vats) and Reclaimation Furnaces (where useless items are melted to be reused). The Matoran here work as mask-makers, monitors of Protodermis flows, and proto-smiths.Ko - Metru This Metru has multiple Knowledge Towers, which are fragile, contain multiple Chutes inside, and can reach so high that their rooftops are often covered with ice. Matoran here are scholars and seers study and analyze, trying to predict the future. They are incredibly focused on their work and rarely speak unless it is absolutely necessary. They dislike Onu-Matoran, as they try to preserve the past, which is opposite of what Ko-Matoran do: predicting the future. However, Ko-Matorans are more tolerant of Le-Matoran, as they are vital for working on Chutes, which, if damaged, can hold up their studies. But Ko-Matoran also wish that Le-Matoran would do their job more quietly. Le - Metru Le-Metru is the transport hub of the island of Metru Nui. It is here where the Chute Control station is located, and where the moto-hub is found. The Moto-Hub is where vehicle designs are modeled, tested, and approved or disapproved. The test track is specially reinforced for crashes, a good idea considering how many Matau has been in. It was also on the track where Toa Lhikan gave Matau his Toa Stone. Ga-Metru Ga-Metru is the learning hub of the city. It is where the schools and research labs are located. Ga-Metru is also home to the Great Temple, where Vakama, Onewa, Nokama, Nuju, Whenua, and Matau were transformed into Toa Metru. It is also the Metru most favored by Mata Nui. Protodermis is refined here. Po-Metru Po-Metru is home to artists and carvers of all levels of skills. Each carver keeps his set of tools inside his work table. Carvers take great pride in their tools and are reluctant to share them with others. This is where all statue sculpture and carving takes place. All sorts of items are sent to Po-Metru after being manufactured in Ta-Metru, for assembly and decoration. Spare Kanohi are also kept in Po-Metru. The main locations of Po-Metru are: The Canyon of Unending Whispers. The Canyon of Unending Whispers is a lonely spot at the edge of Po-Metru—or should I say, was? Mysterious activity has been noticed at the Canyon lately; squads of Zadakh coming and going; sightings of a four-legged creature and a hulking brute slipping down trails into the Canyon. In fact, this is where the entrance to the Prison of the Dark Hunters was located. Protodermis warehouse. Blocks of protodermis and assorted finished parts are stored here, in one of the many warehouses that line Po-Metru. An assembler who needs a specific part can come here to find whatever is required. Unfortunately, the Po-Matoran are not as meticulous about order as Onu-Matoran are, so parts tend to be scattered about and mixed together. It can sometimes take a very long time to find the one specific thing needed for a project. Assembler’s Village. This is where small items, like furniture, are assembled. These little settlements can be found almost anywhere in Po-Metru, but due to the fact that they are scattered among mountains and canyons, they can be very dangerous places to live. They are too many and too far apart for the Vahki to sufficiently protect. Fields of Construction. A huge series of open spaces where objects too big for the Assembler’s Village are put together. The Sculpture Fields are a part of the Fields of Construction. Sculpture Fields. A section of the Fields of Construction. The starting point for the amazing statues seen in Metru Nui is the Sculpture Fields. This is a large, open expanse, long since bleached by the sun, so that it resembles a desert. Blocks of stone-protodermis are brought here, sometimes via chutes, sometimes on flatboats through the protodermis canals. The Po-Matoran long ago realized that only an open area like this would suit their purposes. The statues and other works of art they construct are simply too big to fit inside a building, let alone be gotten out once completed for shipment elsewhere in the city. On any given day, one can see armies of workers laboring in the Sculpture Fields. They stop for only two circumstances: quitting time of the appearance of a dangerous Rahi like a tunneler. When work is done for the day, wild herds of kikanalo sweep through, digging up any left-over pieces of stone-protodermis for later recycling. The expanse is littered with unfinished huge statues and towers, which dominate the horizon like mesas. Toa Onewa has discovered that using his proto pitons to swing from one statue to another is the fastest way to travel across the Sculpture Fields. Years of tilling the soil for scraps of stone-protodermis has led to portions of the Fields becoming unstable. Statues built there will sink into the ground, and even walking across the area can be treacherous. The large circle in Po-Metru is a terminal for airships. Onu-Metru Onu-Metru is home to the Archives, where Onu-Matoran archivists work hard to preserve artifacts of Metru Nui's history. Rahi are also kept in the Archives. This Metru is also home to lightstone and Protodermis mines, where lightstones to illuminate the city and Protodermis to be sent to Ga-Metru for refining. The Coliseum The Coliseum is at the center of the city of Metru Nui. It is where sporting events such as Kolhii and Akilini take place, as well as being the main power source for the city. Turaga Dume has quarters here. In the 2005 storyline, the Coliseum is used as the hatching ground for the Visorak. Keetongu's cavern Below the city, one mythical beast lurks: Keetongu. The only known way to get there is to get in an underground chute. Arthaka & Karzahnni
Voya Nui/ Island Of DoomLocation: South of Mata Nui (the island)Voya Nui is a island south of Mata Nui. Matoran live there under the tyranny of the false "Toa" called the Piraka. No one knew the existance of Voya Nui except the Piraka. It is said that the island houses a great secret, a great "evil".The Piraka want it for themself which is punishable by death by the Dark Hunters. special info: Matoran live in one concentrated part of the island because the island is too dangerous to be spread through.
