Occupation

Occupation may refer to:

• the principal activity (job or calling) that earns money for a person (see Profession, Business)
• any activity that occupies an important portion of a person's attention (see fan)

• the periods of time following a nation's territory invasion by controlling enemy troops (see belligerent occupation)
• the temporary forceful occupation of a (typically governmental) symbolic building, as a sign of Protest
• the act of settling into of a building (see Ownership)
• the act of settling onto an uninhabited tract of Land
