Litha

Litha, also called Midsummer, marked the turning point between the months of Erelitha and Afterlitha in the ancient Germanic calendar, and is one of the eight Neopagan sabbats. The term is especially used in the recreated calendar of the revived Germanic religion of Asatru. Among the ancient Germanic cultures, this term appears to have been specifically Anglo-Saxon.
