The main ingredients are <a href="Potato">potatoes</a>, <a href="Bacon">Bacon</a>, <a href="Milk">Milk</a>, <a href="Onion">onions</a>, and <a href="Egg (food)">eggs</a>. It may be spiced with <a href="Edible salt">salt</a>, <a href="Black pepper">Black pepper</a>, <a href="Bay leaf">bay leaves</a>, and/or <a href="Marjoram">Marjoram</a>.<p>It is usually eaten with sour cream.
