<catset>Category="Musical texture"</catset><b>Homophony</b> is a <a href="Music">musical</a> term that describes the <a href="Texture (music)">texture</a> of two or more <a href="Musical instrument">instruments</a> or <a href="Part">parts</a> moving together and using the same <a href="Rhythm">Rhythm</a>. Many <a href="Hymn">hymns</a> are mainly homophonic.
