Guilder

Guilder is the English name for the Dutch Gulden. It was used as a unit of currency in Guyana, following the British takeover. It was equal to 16 pence, with 22 guilder equal to a Brazillian peca (6400 réis). After the guilder was replaced by sterling as the currency, 2 and 4 pence coins were issued in Guyana (then called British Guiana) to replace the ⅛ and ¼ guilder coins.

Guilder is also a fictional nation in the book The Princess Bride, as is Florin.
