Fusulinid
The fusulinids are an extinct group of foraminiferan protozoa. They produce calcareous shells, which are of fine Calcite granules packed closely together; this distinguishes them from other calcareous forams, where the test is usually hyaline. Fusulinids are important indicator fossils. |
