  1. In the Aeneid, Euryalus and Nisus were considered ideal friends. He died during a raid on the Rutulians. (Virgil V, 294, 334; IX 179, 199, 226, 431)
  2. In Greek mythology, Euryalus is one of the Epigoni and Argonaut. He was brother-in-arms of Diomedes.
