The following three families are placed here:<ul><li> Family Crossosomataceae <li> Family Stachyuraceae <li> Family Staphyleaceae </ul><p>Under the older <a href="Cronquist system">Cronquist system</a> these are placed in the <a href="Rosales">Rosales</a>, <a href="Violales">Violales</a>, and <a href="Sapindales">Sapindales</a>, respectively. In addition there are four genera, each placed within its own family, that may belong here. These are <i>Aphloia</i>, <i>Geissoloma</i>, <i>Ixerba</i>, and <i>Strasburgeria</i>.
