Within <a href="Christianity">Christianity</a> the word <b>communion</b> can refer to: <ul> <li><a href="Communion (Christian)">Communion</a> - a close relationship between Christian Churches or communities, and by metonymy a group of such Churches or communities that recognize the existence between them of such a relationship, especially if it can be characterized as <a href="Full communion">Full communion</a>. <li>The <a href="Communion of Saints">Communion of Saints</a>, the concept of a link binding together all Christians (whom the <a href="New Testament">New Testament</a> calls "saints" (holy people) because of their consecration to God and <a href="Christ">Christ</a>) and enabling them to share common blessings (holy things) <li><a href="Eucharist">Communion</a> as the Eucharist in its entirety or as an aspect of the <a href="Sacrament">Sacrament</a>. </ul>
