<catset>Category="Silicate minerals"</catset><b>Antigorite</b> is a <a href="Monoclinic">Monoclinic</a> <a href="Mineral">Mineral</a> from the <a href="Kaolinite">Kaolinite</a>-<a href="Serpentine">Serpentine</a> group. It is a <a href="Polymorph">Polymorph</a> of <a href="Chrysotile">clinochrysotile</a>, <a href="Serpentine">lizardite</a>, <a href="Chrysotile">orthochrysotile</a> and <a href="Chrysotile">parachrysotile</a>. It was first described and got its name from the Antigorio valley, <a href="Province of Novara">Novara province</a>, <a href="Piedmont">Piedmont</a>, <a href="Italy">Italy</a>.<p>See also: <a href="List of minerals">List of minerals</a>
